As we reach the upper terminal, the vista stretches to the distance. Tram riders can often see abundant wildlife on the slopes below, including bears, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, and even mountain
lions. The upper tram terminal is at 10,378 feet. Water and toilets are available. If you don't have a map, get one ($7.60) before setting off on your journey. Both a compass and
a topographical map are highly recommended; several hikers get lost every year. Don't be one of them!
