Clarification About Labels on Visa Package

You will have TWO flat-rate envelopes. The FIRST is going TO the consulate. Both the priority mailing label and the signature confirmation form will be addressed to the consulate, but the mailing label should have YOUR return address in the "FROM" portion.

INSIDE the first envelope, you will include a SECOND flat-rate envelope with a return priority mail label and the signature confirmation form addressed to YOU. The consulate's address will go in the "FROM" portion of the mailing label. Don't forget the necessary postage!

Here's what these should look like.

Call Mike Kruchoski (480-5000) if you have any questions.

Visa Applications Are the Next Big Step

Please watch for the packet that should be arriving on Saturday or Monday. It will include all the forms you will need for applying for your Brazilian visa.

Since you will need to send your passport to the Brazilian Consulate in Houston, we highly recommend using Priority Mail with a Delivery Confirmation to send it.

You MUST use Priority Mail or Express Mail for the return. First class mail is NOT an option. Again, we highly recommend that you use Priority Mail with a Delivery Confirmation, because of its reasonable cost and the additional security.

You can download your very own color copy of the "Visa Application 101" instructions here.

Tour Planning is in Full Gear

The latest version of the tour itinerary is available here (in .pdf format, so you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can get here).

Please, keep in mind that tour itineraries are sometimes a "moving target" -- as more details are worked out, some segments of the trip may change, but we will do all we can to make them reasonable (i.e., "good") changes. We have less that 12 weeks to go!

The tour planning group is meeting weekly -- and working on something every day -- to iron out those details. If you want to volunteer some of your time, please call Katherine Myers (269-6315) or Mike Kruchoski (480-5000), and we'll find something that could use your careful attention to ensure our concert tour is a total success.

Remember you can always find copies of other tour documents online here for your convenience.
